Live music is a way off life really. Me personally, I enjoy going out anytime from Thursday – Sunday to see and support local bands. It’s satisfying to experience a bands journey; hearing them for the first time, then maybe seeing them in a year or so to find an impressive improvement in sound and performance. Locals ‘Baskervillain’ definitely hit that nail on the head, (for me) they went from a great Brisbane band to a fucking overall insane act that I would love to see on festival line ups around the world. My point is that there is some serious incredible talent out there that you may (or may not – you know, whatever) be missing out on and although it definitely has a long way to go, Brisbane’s live music scene is getting better by the year – so keep those ears prepped and ready for bliss baby.

I’ve put together a little guide of some stand out Brissy events coming up that I think you all might also be interested in, mainly for December.  Essentially my  advice is; go adventure, discover all the amazingness that’s out there and you might honestly surprise yourself with not only what bands you find but also the people you meet.
